个人简介
My research focuses on the development of innovative strategies for sustainable agriculture using new superabsorbent hydrogels made from natural biopolymers such as sodium alginate, starch and cellulose. These hydrogels were subjected to structural, thermal and morphological characterization. They were then used as multifunctional materials for slow/controlled nutrient release, soil conditioners and evaluation of their effectiveness in mitigating the impact of water stress on greenhouse crops.
