Bio
Andrew M. Cross (M’05) received the B.Sc. degree from Leeds University, Leeds, U.K., in 1985, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., in 1997 and 2002, respectively. From 1985 to 1989, he was a Design and Development Engineer with GEC Industrial Controls and also a Research Engineer with the Magnetics Division, Ultra Electronics, from 1989 to 1997. From 2001 to 2004, he was a Research Fellow with the University of Birmingham and a Lecturer at Manchester University from 2004 to 2008 and Aston University from 2008 to 2016. Since 2017, he has been a Senior Lecturer with the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Group, Loughborough University, U.K. His research interests include high-frequency power converters, power quality and modeling, simulation, and control of power electronic systems.
