Bio
Gustavo Gonzalez holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc degree in Materials Science and technology, both from the Polytechnic of Turin. His research activities focused on developing and testing new polymeric materials and composites to fabricate functional devices through 3D printing technologies. In particular, during the last years, he focused on developing polymeric fluidic devices for biomedical applications using light-based 3D printing.
Gustavo Gonzalez joined the Italian Association for Industrial Research (AIRI) in 2021 as a technology analyst focusing on analyzing the socioeconomic and ethical impact of new and emerging technologies and disseminating technical-scientific information to citizens, policymakers, and other industrial actors. His current interests are sustainability, digital and green economy, Responsible research and innovation, technological transfer, and multi-stakeholder dialogues on new and emerging technologies.
