My lines of research are based on the search of environmental preservation and the sustainability of marine-coastal and oceanographic environments. The focus of my investigative efforts revolves around a multidisciplinary approach. Thus, I am not only dedicated to elucidating the prevalence, distribution, and dynamics of microplastics in various matrices such as sediments, water, atmosphere, and organisms, but I am also committed to evaluating the ecotoxicological impacts these contaminants
