Bio
Anaïs Bardyn is a postdoc in the M-CLASS laboratory in the Department of Geology, University of Maryland (UMD). She is interested in the composition of bodies from our Solar System, with a focus on the organic content, using mass spectrometry techniques. She has experience with time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), spaceflight instrumentation, and the analysis of in situ flight data and measurements of planetary analogs collected on laboratory instruments. At UMD, Anaïs is working on the CORALS and CRATER projects. As a Co-I of the COSIMA/Rosetta mass spectrometer instrument, she is also involved in the analyses of the in situ data collected from comet 67P. She received her PhD in Astrobiology in 2016 from the Université Paris-Est in France.
