• Development and characterization of new cancer cell
lines and tumor models for the investigation of tumor
progression and for testing of the new anticancer therapeutics as
well as for the development of personalized strategy for cancer
treatment (2012-in present).
• Development and characterization of a method for
cultivating breast cancer organoid-like 3D-3 models consisting
of tumor, stromal and immune cells to study cell-to-cell
interactions and response to hormonal stimuli, cytokines and
immunotherapeutic drugs (2020-in present).
• Studies of changes in the production of extracellular
matrix by tumor and/or stromal cells using the in vitro spheroid
model (in present).
• Investigated cytotoxic activity and antitumor potential of
recombinant vaccinia virus VV-GMCSF-Lact and recombinant
analogue of lactaptin. Performed a part of preclinical studies of
recombinant vaccinia virus VV-GMCSF-Lact for the treatment
of breast cancer (2012-2021). This anticancer agent is currently
undergoing clinical trials in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
