个人简介
Dr. Chong Liu received his BS degree in electronics engineering and his PhD degree in optical engineering from Zhejiang University, in 2000 and 2007, respectively. He worked at the Institut für Optik und Atomare Physik, Technische Universität Berlin as an exchange student from Aug. 2005 to July 2007. He is now an associate professor in the Department of Optical Engineering, and has been selected for the third level of New-Century 151-Talent Program of Zhejiang Province (2013). Dr. Liu gives a lecture “optical electronics” to undergraduates and a lecture “Electro-Magnetic Theory in Optical Field” to graduate students. He is also the class teacher of “Class 1105” in the Department of Optical Engineering. Dr. Liu’s research focuses on high-power solid-state lasers and nonlinear optics. He is the principle investigator of several research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has published more than 80 peer reviewed journal papers. 17 invention patents were applied and 8 of them have been authorized. He was awarded the military progress prize in science and technology in 2012.
