个人简介
Christian Kreibich attended the Technical University of Munich in Germany, receiving his intermediate Diplom (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) in 1998 and his Diplom (equivalent to a master's) in 2002, shortly after his first visit to ICSI as an intern in the Networking Group in 2001. He went on to receive his doctorate in computer science from the University of Cambridge's Computer Laboratory, advised by Jon Crowcroft. In 2006, he was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at ICSI funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He was hired as a researcher by ICSI in 2008. Christian has served on more than two dozen conference program committees. He is also on the steering committees for the Security and Privacy Symposium Workshops and the Conference on Detection of Intrusions and Malware and Vulnerability Assessment, of which he was the program committee chair in 2010. He led the development of ICSI's malware farm "GQ" into a botnet infiltration platform, co-developed the Netalyzr network troubleshooting service, and, in 2011, was a co-winner of the FCC Open Internet Research Challenge as well as an Outstanding Paper Award at the USENIX Security Symposium. He is also the director of research at Lastline Inc., a leader in anti-malware solutions. His research interests include network architecture, distributed systems, and network security.
