Zhao Zhang

Zhao Zhang was born in Hebei Province, China in 1992. He received the bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees in hydraulics and river dynamics from Hohai University, Nanjing, China, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He currently works in the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research as an Engineer. He is mainly engaged in the research of operation and scheduling of Water Transfer Project, including water regime perception of water transfer system, data assimilation of hydraulic parameters, optimal scheduling of cascade pumping stations, hydraulic control of cascade sluice gates group, etc. He is involved in the South to North Water Transfer Project and other water transfer projects in China, and is also the Reviewer of Journal of Hydrology.
