Bio
Rumao Tao received the B.S., M.S. and Doctor's degrees in
optical engineering from the National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, China, in 2009, 2011, and 2015,
respectively. He is currently a Lecturer with the College of Optoelectronic Science and Engineering, National
University of Defense Technology. His current research focuses on high-power fiber laser technology, especially mode
instability in high-power fiber amplifiers.
