陈政清于1980年代末提出三维梁杆结构几何大变形的UL列式法和相应计算程序,最早解决了中国悬索桥和斜拉桥的三维非线性设计计算问题;在桥梁风工程理论与应用方面有重要贡献,解决了颤振,多阶涡振等的多个计算与实验难题;发明的永磁式磁流变减振技术不再需要电源,特别适合斜拉桥拉索减振;发明的电涡流减振技术,大幅提高了电涡流阻尼的耗能效率和阻尼力的放大倍数,解决了电涡流阻尼难以用于大型结构减振的难题。上述研究成果已成功应用于中国国内外多项重大工程,其中电涡流减振技术已逐渐成为土木、机械等多个行业的共性关键技术。
