中国科学院青年创新促进会会员和优秀会员,国家优秀青年基金获得者,畜牧兽医学会第三届井冈新秀奖,颐和青年成就奖,湖南省企业科技创新创业团队带头人。中科院青年创新促进会生命科学分会会长和院理事会理事、全国畜牧业标准委员会委员。长期从事通过瘤胃氢迁移和甲烷排放研究,主要学术成果:1)自主研制全自动体外模拟瘤胃发酵系统,首次观察并报道了瘤胃内氢气生成与消耗的现象,构建氢气和甲烷累积的LE系列模型;2)突破瘤胃内溶解态氢测定的技术难点,建立了瘤胃内溶解态氢的取样和测定方法;3)提出并证明氢具有调控瘤胃发酵模式和甲烷生成的重要营养学功能;4)率先构建反刍动物全肠道氢代谢微生物基因组数据库,证实了全消化道微生物具有广泛代谢氢的能力,为研究氢的营养学功能提供理论依据。
