Dr. Tan received his MD degree from Central South University in 2013. He worked as a urologist at The Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University from 2002. Dr. Tan is currently the Vice Chief Doctor and Associate Professor of The Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. He is also a committee member of Hunan Andrology Association.

Dr. Tan been engaged in clinical works, teaching and research on Urology and Andrology fields for almost 20 years. His research interests include urolithiasis, erectile dysfunction, prostatic diseases. He has been awarded 3 scientific research grants from Hunan Scientific Plan Fund and Hunan Medical Association. Dr. Tan has authored or coauthored over 20 articles in medical journals and 3 book chapters on andrology and urology topics.
