主持和完成课题有:“863”新材料专题项目、福特-中国研究与发展基金、国家自然科学基金面上项目、联合基金项目、上海市科委重点基础项目和企业横向项目等30余项。在材料领域著名的刊物上发表学术论文近200篇,如Journal of the European Ceramic Society、Ceramics International、Materials Chemistry and Physics、Journal of Materials Research and Technology、Journal of Alloys and Compounds、Materials Science and Engineering A、Intermetallics、Surface and Coatings Technology等,被SCI/EI收录160余篇,总被引>1800次,H-index = 23。授权发明专利40余项。主编/参编专著2部。获国务院特殊津贴 (1997-1999)、八五“八六三”课题工作奖、上海市技术发明一等奖 (2009)。学术兼职:新加坡材料学会会员、新加坡国际研究者协会会员、美国陶瓷学会会员、《热加工工艺》第五届编辑委员会委员、中国有色金属学会冶金物理化学学术委员会委员、中国有色金属学会稀有金属冶金学术委员会委员、中国有色金属产业技术创新战略联盟专家委员会委员、上海金属学会会员、上海金属材料近净成形工程技术研究中心技术委员会委员和上海市压铸技术协会副理事长等。
