A. R. Karimov

Alexander R. Karimov received the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in physics and mathematics from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Moscow, Russia, in 1994 and 1999, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrophysical Installations, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. Since 1996, he has been a Staff Member with the Institute for High Temperatures, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, where he is also a Leading Researcher with the Division for Magneto-Plasma Aerodynamics and MHD Energy Conversion. His current research interests include theoretical laser, beam and plasma physics, hydrodynamics, and biophysics.
