Bio
Ekaterina Gladkova was born December, 12th, 1971. After graduation from Saratov Pedagogical Institute in 1994 she started working in Saratov Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics as a Research Technician gradually moving up the career ladder to become the Head of Laboratory and Functional Diagnostics Department in 2008 and then, in 2012 - the Head of Fundamental, Clinical and Experimental Research Department. In 2000 Gladkova defended a PhD thesis substantiating ceruloplasmin role in adjuvant arthritis treatment in experiment (specialty 06.02.01 Animal diseases diagnostics and therapy, animal pathology, oncology and morphology). Afterwards she concentrated on connective tissue metabolism in joint pathology, namely on the search for metabolic disorders correction methods and the studying of biological effects of natural biopolymers and transition elements. Ekaterina Vyacheslavovna is the author of more than 60 scientific works, has 8 patents and elaborated 6 computer programs and databases on assessment, diagnostics and treatment of bone tissue metabolism disorders.
